Let's get to know each other a bit...
Your online presence Queen, biggest hype woman, and Founder & Creative Director of IlluminEssence Creations
I'm from Texas but have lived in every time zone in the U.S. and currently live in Denver, CO; I got my BFA in Modern Dance and danced professionally for years; and my fiance and I are big-time football fans (go Birds!) and love collecting records or snuggling our fur babies (2 dogs and 2 kitties).
I'm what you might call low-key bougie... I love getting outside and hiking, but prefer to stay in a cabin with a hot tub over camping. I live and work in athletic wear, but I love doing my hair and make-up, and getting dressed up for a night out with my boo. And although I can cook, I don't enjoy it, so I prefer to order delivery from local restaurants (or have my boo cook).
I originally got my design experience working on my high school and college yearbooks - as Editor-in-Chief for two years on each - which I then turned into a freelance career of design and marketing, starting in college and running for almost 10 years, before eventually creating the business you see today!
